In the Islamic faith, ladies are not supposed to head mosques and lead prayers anywhere as long as men are there. But Dr. Aisha Lukwago, a preacher of the Islamic faith, has broken the ban on women.

On Thursday she sent messages to Muslims in different foras informing them of the appearance of IMAM MAHADI, appearance of MASIIHI DDAJJAAL, and descending of prophet ISA (Jesus Christ) on the judgment day.

Hajati Lukwago says that on the judgment day men powerful men from heaven like YAJOOJ MAJOOJ will appear and make the rising of the sun from the west after which the doors of forgiveness will be closed.

She informs Muslims that on that day the Dab’batal-Ard (angels of death) will emerge from the ground and will mark all the true Muslims.

Thereafter, 40 days of fog that will kill all the true believers (Muslims) will happen so that true Muslims don’t experience the other signs.

Lukwago says in the document that a hug fire will cause destruction and destruction of the kaabah, and the writing of the Quran will vanish.

The trumpet will be blown for the first time and kafirs (men Prophet Mohammad left) will die and all mountain buildings will crumble. She says that the second time the trumpet will be blown and all of the Allah’s creation will resurrect and meet on the plains of Arafat for their judgment. Hajjati Lukwago says that sun will lower itself with the earth.

The Justice and Constitutional Affairs minister, Maj. Gen.Kahinda Otafire has reportedly started defending homosexuals; a practice looked as a taboo in Uganda.

Otafiire yesterday told a press conference in Kampala that the government should go slow on enacting a law that out laws homosexuality and lesbianism.

The minister says that he is aware that homosexuality is satanic, demonic, immoral and ungodly but enacting anti homosexual law would be difficult to implement.

Otafiire who is a lawyer told the press that even if the law against homosexuality is in place to prove in Court that a person is a homosexual is difficult. So he asked the religious leaders and traditional leaders and moralists not to develop pressure over the vice and leave the matter to God who will judge homosexuals on the judgment day.

The East African court of justice sitting in Tanzania capital  Arusha has issued an order to the attorney general of Uganda, parliament of Uganda and the East African community to refrain from conduction the forth coming elections of representatives of Uganda in the East African legislative assembly pending amendment of rules that provide for election of members in the said parliament to the satisfaction of this court.

The injunction is in line with the petition filed by Democratic Party legal adviser Fred Mukasa Mbidde who sought for the intervention of the regional court to determine the legality of the rules and procedures for election of such members in line with several articles of the East African Community treaty that have been continuously defied.

In a judgment delivered, the three judges who included the principal judge Johnston Busingye, deputy principal judge Stella Mary Arach Amoko and justice John Mkwawa concurred with the applicant Fred Mukasa Mbidde that the rules under which EALA members from Uganda are elected were contravening article 50 of the East African community treaty that provides for all parties represented in the national parliament to be represented in the assembly without basing on numerical strength of parties.

The judgment read by principal judge Johnston Busingye observed that the contravention of such rules did not only affect the representation of parties in the East African Legislative assembly but also put the integrity of the assembly in question.

The judgment now puts the election of Uganda representative to EALA at halt until the rules being challenged are amended and subject to approval by the East African court of justice.

The applicants’ counsel Justin Ssemuyaba asked court to take look at any amended rules to ascertain on their compliance with the treaty.

The order will not only affect the process of electing Uganda’s representatives to EALA, but also affect the activities of the East African Community that include budgetary issues as well as effecting administrative matters.

The former Member of Parliament for Lubaga North, Singh Katongole has reportedly developed high blood pressure after losing his seat to his rival, Moses Kasibante on Monday 24/oct/2011.

We have been reliably informed that Singh has not eaten anything and he is bedridden at home since Monday when the High Court sitting inKampala declared Moses Kasibante the duly elected Member of Parliament for Rubaga North saying he was the rightfully elected member of constituency.

This was contained in the Monday High Court judgment which lasted more than one and a half hours. The High Court Judge Justice Kibuuka Musoke faulted the Mengo Chief Magistrate for issuing a vote re-count order and abdicating the re-count process to a third party which should not have been the case as stipulated by the Parliamentary and Presidential Elections Act which led to the mess that followed the process later.

Kibuuka Musoke’s ruling brought to an end Singh’s brief parliamentary career that saw him a couple of weeks making a submission during the heated oil agreements debate in the house in support of the NRM party.
