A family of one of the cadres of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) split over a son who joined opposition Forum for Democratic Change to work with Col. Kiiza Besigye.

Hajji Abdul Nadduli’s son, Juma Nadduli separated with his dad Nadduli over Besigye. The son announced that he had joined FDC to support Besigye and Nadduli, the NRM chairman in Luweero told him that that was impossible because their family was part of the ruling party.

The son however told Nadduli what was on his mind. Juma told Nadduli that he was to join Besigye and escort him wherever he goes. Nadduli was overheard telling his pals that Juma is determined not to turn back.

Juma’s action reminds us of a boy Martin Luther King talks about who was been refused by his dad to join the Negros struggle and the boy told the Dad that “if u lock me I will jump the fence, if you are to punish me, I will take the punishment. I am not walking for freedom I am also walking for you dad and mum, I want you to get freedom before you die.”

Captain Juma Seiko has come out to show to all people that even though he is an army man he knows music to its fullest.

Reports from his family have it that the captain who is an aide to president Museveni’s brother, Gen. Salim Saleh indicates that Captain Seiko in collabo with Loketo Lee is shooting a film for his album dubbed ‘Obulamu Bwensi.’

The song Obulamu is a mixture of Luganda and Acholi dialects. The film is expected to hit Uganda’s airwaves soon after its film is ready.

Now Captain Juma Seiko has joined Sergeant Kifulugunyu and Gen. Elly Tumwine in the music industry. Perhaps Captain Seiko will not release one hit and quit the industry after the army spirits call him back for duty.

Captain Juma Seiko’s 11 daughters hit Club Rouge in Kampala last night dressed in miniskirts and caused massive erections. Indeed we overheard one of the bouncers at Club Rouge asserting that the captain should be declared a source of National treasures.

The bouncer went on, ‘I am sure Captain Seiko can easily get a bank loan out of these girls because they look like pure gold.” When the girl entered into Club Rouge they found singer Grace Nakimera performing on stage and they also jumped on stage. We don’t know whether the event was stage-managed. The way these girls had dressed set the Rouge on fire.

Ms Pamera, one of the waitresses at the club jokingly said that Seiko’s girls had dressed as if they were going to participate in a blue movie. Their dance style and moves hypnotized men and set their harmonies raging. When these girls danced, funny noise came from the males.

It is a matter of weeks before Uganda’s music loving fans forget about events in which dozens of singers perform on the same stage, one after another.

This is because gospel singer, Judith Babirye has organised a single music gala in which she will sing and dance alone on stage until the show will be over.

The venue for the show is Nakivubo stadium and the date is December 26th this year. Guys also brace yourselves, we have been told that super models from all bands will be at the do only to shake what their mothers gave them before Judith jumps on stage.

Judith Babirye will sing all her old and new songs live on stage and no any other singer will co sing with her. So all gospel music fans-you know where you will enjoy it from, the venue will be Nakivubo stadium.

The situation at Butabika National Referral Psychiatric Hospital has returned to normal after the medics who had gone on a sit-down strike resumed work.

The nurses and some senior medics at Butabika hospital went on strike yesterday demanding for their salary arrears and the reinstatement of their risk allowances which were cut off by the ministry of public service.

Talking to journalists today the chairman of the Uganda Medical Workers Union Butabika Hospital branch, Juma Ojwang said that some health workers have resumed duty after convincing them that their issues will be handled very soon.

Ojwang says that the medics who sleep outside the hospital have not yet returned for duty.

Ojwang however was noncommittal on when the arrears will be paid and if the risk allowances would be reinstated.
