Uganda Federal Alliance (UFA) president, Betty Olive Kamya has warned Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago of interfering with Kampala Executive director, Jennifer Musisi’s work inKampala.

Kamya who is also the former MP for Lubaga North says that Lukwago should leave Musisi to do her work as he does his because the people of Kampala want services but not wars between Musisi and Lukwago.

She says that Lukwago and Musisi have better chance to improveKampalaif they work together. Kamya says that power struggles would ruin the city andUgandaat large.

Kamya further accuses Lukwago of inciting violence amongst taxi operators and UTODA saying such acts don’t portray him as a good leader.

However Lukwago says he criticises the manner in which KCCA and Ms Musisi as a person conducts KCCA activities. The Lord Mayor says that Musisi conducts duties meant to be executed by the lord mayor without the consent of the Lord Mayor.

Spies report that Kamya and the guy arrived at Garden City at around 9:00pm being chauffeured in Kamya’s land cruiser registered in UAH series.

 The former MP for Lubaga North and the dark guy went straight to a dark corner in one of the restaurants at Garden City and started ordering for the drinks.

The spies tell us that Kamya and the guy believed to be a member of her Uganda Federal Alliance Party chatted till late when they jumped into their land cruiser and drove away.

Many people who were around were left wondering whether the guy is a new catch for the widow former female presidential candidate. Kamya’s husband Turomwe kicked the bucket several years back.

 She says that this time she has mastered all the loopholes which made her lose the presidential polls and so Ugandans should expect her to be their next president after Museveni in 2016. Kamya was talking to our informers at her home inKampala.

 Kamya says that she is currently working with people who have money and they are ready to contribute towards her cause. Kamya was the only woman who contested in last presidential polls and she was 4^th in the race of five men and one woman.

The electoral commission decided to meet Betty Kamya today five days back. The electoral commission chief,Eng.Badru Kiggundu wanted Kamya to tell the commission the best approach towards the party’s interest to organise the referendum in 2015.

The meeting between the electoral commission officials and Betty Kamya took place today at 10:00am at the head offices of the electoral commission.

The 1995 constitution ofUgandaunder Article 74(3) allows the commission to organise a referendum on any given issue of national concern. Betty Kamya says that her party is currently mobilizing Ugandan voters to sign on documents requesting the commission to organise the referendum.

The members who included the party spokesman, Beker Byayi gave Kamya a green light to continue with her international fundraisation campaign which will end in Europe .

Kamya was recently in US and Europe where she managed to collect a out 500 million shillings at federal dinners. The members told Kamya that she organises another federal dinner in London to raise about 600 million shillings for the party’s forthcoming delegates conference.
