He says that the commission has done a lot in educating and sensitising Ugandan voters on elections and referenda for effective election exercise. The electoral commission ofUganda has been discredited by many Ugandans for organizing unfair polls. The polls in Ugandan many times are rigged in favour of the ruling government.

The ministry of agriculture, in which the government programme Naads dwells, has requested all districts, divisions, town councils, wards and parish officials to mobilize farmers for this exercise in their respective communities.

We have been told that in Wakiso, Luweero, Kampala and Mukono district among other districts in Buganda kingdom the exercise will run from November 24^th to December 30^th 2011. The CAO of Wakiso, David Naluwayiro confirms that the elections of model farmers will take place this month.
