It seems in Uganda whoever disagrees with the policies of his or her political party becomes a rebel. In Uganda’s ruling party NRM, the MPs such as Mohammad Nsereko for Kampala Central and Theodre Sekikubo who have been challenging the dictatorial practices of president Museveni and NRM have already been branded rebels.

For the Democratic Party (DP) the story is not so different. MPs Betty Nambooze and Lulume Bayiga have already been branded rebels for their parallel views. Now the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) of Col. Kiiza Besigye has also named MPs Reagan Okumu, Geoffrey Ekanya, and Nabillah Sempala over their parallel views about the party administrations.

The FDC rebel MPs have now threatened to tire FDC apart if the leaders of FDC don’t reconcile with them. Wait for more details in our next report coming shortly.

The MP for Kampala Central, Mohammad Nsereko has told the media that the proposed ‘public order bill 2011’ is unconstitutional and all Ugandans should fight it off.

Nsereko has advised Uganda’s ruling party, the National Resistance Movement and the government in general to withdraw the bill in its totality.

Nsereko says that president Museveni and his government are bringing back colonial laws to muzzle people from expressing their views and opinions on matters that violate human dignity.

Nsereko further explains that if the bill is passed into law it will make life difficult for people who have seen the weaknesses of the government. MP Nsereko says that some of the clauses in the bill are a replica of the colonial laws drafted in 1939. MP Mohammad Nsereko also fears that if the bill is passed into law it will make Uganda into an absolute police state.

Justice Minister, Major General Kahinda Otafiire is full of smiles again after his long time girl friend, Faridah successfully delivered in USA .

We have been told by the NRM top cadres near Otafiire that his gal friend has given birth to a bouncing baby boy in a US hospital. Our informers can now exclusively reveal that the minister flew to US last week to be on the woman’s side when she delivers.

The mortal talking minister reportedly started dating Faridah four years back after the death of his wife. We have also learnt that Faridah is a graduate of Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University and she comes from Mbarara district.

After losing the last February 2011 parliamentary polls in Kampala Central division to NRM candidate, Mohammad Nsereko, Uganda music producer Eddy Yawe plans to shift to Kyadondo East and fight to replace FDC’s Ibrahim Nganda as area MP.

We have been told that Yawe has bought a chunk of land in Kireka and he is constructing a house in it. Sources say that Yawe wants to be a resident in Kyadondo East by the time the next general elections would take place.

We have heard that Yawe has realised that he will have no chance of winning Kampala Central MP seat considering the fame the area MP Nsereko has got at the grass root. Nsereko is a darling in Kampala due to his open critic of the ruling party and president Museveni in particular.
