Deadline:  25/08/11

Journalists interested in improving their multimedia skills can attend a course in London from Oct. 31- Nov. 4. There are full and partial fellowships available as well as full-tuition spots open.

Thomson Reuters is offering fellowships for journalists from the developing world with a minimum of two years experience with a general news or specialist reporting background wanting to gain new online skills to help them work smarter. No prior technical skills required.

Full bursaries for journalists from the developing world/countries in political transition working for organizations with no resources for training. Bursaries include return air travel (economy class), accommodation and a modest living allowance.

Partially-funded spots are available for journalists from the developing world/countries in political transition who work for organizations with limited training resources, in this instance Thomson Reuters Foundation waives the tuition cost. Participants are expected to cover air travel and accommodation costs. In exceptional circumstances, journalists from the developed world will be considered for partially-funded bursaries.

Non-funded – Thomson Reuters Foundation also offers training for journalists from any region from an organization that can fully cover the costs of the program.
