]]> Police are still surrounded the home of FDC women league chairperson, ms Ingrid Turinawe checking every one who enters and exits it.

The policemen under the command of the Operations commander Kampala North Metropolitan, Sam Omara stormed Turinawe’s home in Canaan Sites Estate, Nakwero village located along Kampala Gayaza road on Monday.

The same police also arrested Turinawe on Monday. She was charged at Kasangati magistrates’ court and remanded at Kasangati prison on the same day.

Omara says that Turinawe and her supporters are not allowed to participate in ‘walk to work campaigns, because the said protests are unconstitutional.
