The incident happened at Kazinga zone in Bweyogerere a Kampala suburb.

According to an eyewitness, Simon Ikara, a gas cylinder exploded burning the bakery to ashes.

Reports also indicate that the owner of the bakery was warned about the poor status of bakery and machines used but all in vain.

The police have already started investigations into the matter.

Drivers and conductors of privately owned Pioneer Easy Buses have gone on strike due to non-payments of two months salary.

These pioneer buses are about 200 and   have been transporting people from the different parts of the Kampala.

The drivers and  the conductors  have camped at Namboole national stadium where the buses are  parked and  have vowed to continue with the strike until when the owner of these buses  address their grievances.

A lot has been talked about Pastor Peter Sematimba but no one has brought us the latest news about his latest private businesses and future in politics.  So we have decided to bring it to you.

The proprietor of Super FM and owner of a number of housing estates in Kampala say that he has quit politics. He says he wants to concentrate on his personal businesses and manage his family.  We are also told that Sematimba bought another pad from a Kampala businessman at 900 million shillings.

In a bid to prove that he is quitting politics, Sematimba has removed political talk shows from his Super FM. He now runs mainly sports, drama, music and news.

Sematimba has also fired the following journalists from his radio station: Mulindwa Muwonge, Charles Bwanika Senkuwa and Moses Kagolo.
