]]> The former vice president Prof. Gilbert Bukenya has been demoted more when his party designated AS the committee member for HIV /AIDS.

This was done by the Government chief whip when he announced Prof. Bukenya’s name on the floor of parliament as a member of he HIV/AIDS Committee.

Bukenya was sacked by the president after serving for almost 7years as the vice president in the government.

Bukenya will be a back bencher in parliament in which he has been on front bench for more than eight years.

Bukenya is now facing charges of abuse of office over CHOGM funds.
