27people have been already been admitted  in the different health facilities .

According to the assistant director disaster management at the Uganda Red Cross society, Kevin Nabuduwa, the district health officers and Red Cross are doing all it takes to contain te disease

She attributes the out break out to  poor sanitation with many people lacking pit latrines

Nabuduwa however says that  they have started giving out aqua tablets for water purification.

In some cultures and families in Africa, such a child is thrown in a pit latrine, along the roadside, bush or killed and secretly buried.

Anorectic malformation occurs when the final part of alimentary canal [called the anus and the rectum] are abnormally developed.

This, according to doctors, occurs during de 5th-7th week of foetal development.

The defect is cute common and it can be corrected through surgery. The symptoms of anorectic malformation are when the baby doesn’t pass stool after birth.

Observing that the anus is closed is another sign of anorectic malformation.  Sometimes the stool comes through another opening for example the vagina or urethra, and the abdomen may swell because the baby isn’t able to pass stool.

 Ms Alupo says that her ministry has got reports that some schools in the country especially in rural areas and slums operate without toilets or pit latrines.

 The minister was today addressing journalists at the ministry’s board room in Kampala Capital City Authority.

 Alupo also says that the heads of schools manning UPE and USE schools should report to her office toilets and pit latrines that have filled up.
