]]> It seems Uganda police is doing whatever is possible to reduce on the rising levels of crime in different parts of the country especially towns. Information got from the police’s Cocaine unit in Kampala has it that the force has started training horses and dogs to help in investigations.

The police source says that Americans have told Uganda police that horses and rats have a strong sence of smell and they can be used to investigate serious crimes.

The Uganda police officers are also receiving training in rats and horse handling in Naguru. The instructors are Chinese according to sources.

The horses and rats are going to supplement on dogs at the scene of crimes. Our reporters have not known exactly where the horses and rats that are to be used by police have originated from.
