Speaking at the swearing in ceremony of the prisoner officers that was held at Kampala high court, Bahangaine urged the officers to follow the law of Uganda. She urged them to fight corruption in society.

Meanwhile the acting commissioner of prisons in-charge of support service based at prison Headquarters in Kampala Samuel Akena say the swearing in has officially allowed them to execute their duties over judicature cases.

A total of 37 prisoner wardens were promoted to the rank of assistant superintendent and are to serve in their respective areas of work.
