Uganda’s leading opposition leader, Dr. Col. Kiiza Besigye is again under preventive arrest at his home in Kasangati on Kampala Gayaza road. His home is surrounded by dozens of policemen and army soldiers in police uniform.

Besigye, also a member of Activists for Change (A4c) was suspected by the government to have had plans of addressing a press conference on police brutality at his offices on Katonga Road in Kampala.

The sources in police told journalists that the force feared that Besigye and his cohorts were going to expose cases of police brutality in which tens of Ugandans reportedly lost their lives. The sources said exposing such information to the public raises peoples’ emotions. However, the police worked on wrong information because the said press conference was set to be addressed by the A4C coordinator MP Mathias Mpuuga but not Besigye.

Reports in Uganda’s music industry indicate that singer Juliana Kanyomozi could be
pregnant again. A source in the entertainment world told our informer that Juliana is currently not heard due to the pregnancy.

Juliana already has a child with music lover, Amon Lukwago. Lukwago and Juliana separated some years back prompting Juliana to compose a song the portrayed Amon in bad light. The song was titled ‘Nabikoowa nange.’

However people allege that Amon could not be responsible for the pregnancy considering the circumstances under which the two separated.

The Kantambule Nawe music ace has been enjoying steamy moments with men but without producing babies. Reports further indicate that if Juliana is truly pregnant the man responsible could be among the following: DJ Michael, Peter Miles, Mujib Kasule, Kassim Ouma or Godfrey Nyakaana. Efforts to get a comment from Juliana were futile by press time!

Uganda is experiencing TB drugs but the National Resistance Movement government is planning to import the TB drugs in September. Today is March 15, 2012. We don’t know whether TB patients will not have died by September. Currently most hospitals in Uganda have run out of drugs.

The minister for Health, Christine Ondoa has told a press conference in Kampala this morning that the Government has earmarked 4 billion shillings to procure TB drugs starting with the month of September.

Ondoa says that the government is planning to distribute the drugs once imported to both private and government aided health centers across the country. TB is still one of the major causes of death in Uganda and Africa in general. Uganda registers, according to the ministry of health 330 per 1000 patients who report at the hospitals.

Uganda also experiences inadequate supply of fluorescent microscopes used in laboratories. The few microscopes the country has were procured a few years back by Global Fund grants.

This is surely some good news for supporters of MP Brenda Nabukenya. The rumour we have got now is that she could be two months pregnant.

Nabukenya won the recent Luweero district woman MP by election polls. Her close pals in DP rumored to us that she could be pregnant and the man responsible if it is true she is pregnant is not yet known to the press.

We are not confirming that the legislator is pregnant. But it is only rumoured that she could be pregnant. DP insiders tell us that if it is true the legislator is pregnant, the man responsible could be one of the vibrant and loaded men in the Democratic Party.

Some of the vibrant and loaded men in the democratic Party include Deputy Lord Mayor, Sulaiman Kidandala, DP Legal advisor and Mukasa Mbidde. Our investigation team is going on to investigate whether really the MP is pregnant. Remember Brenda is not yet blessed with a baby.
