]]> Members of Parliament on the public accounts committee of parliament have expressed concern that the picfare industries limited went ahead to supply 300,000 T-shirts worth 1.3 billion shillings to the Burundian government as part of scholastic materials.

The government of Burundi authorized Uganda to pay the monies owed to Burundi to Picfare industries in turn for Picfare to supply scholastic materials but the mps are querying why picfare diverted from the original agreement of supplying scholastic materials to T-shirts.

The mps on this committee say that they have received some information that all the money was paid to picfare but not all the goods have not been supplied to Burundi.

The lead council of this committee Eddie Kwizera says this is one of the issues among other compensations they will raise with the president when they met him on Wednesday.
