]]> Uganda re-launched her railway transport in Kampala on Monday, causing excitement among citizens. In a news statement today the Rift Valley Railways (RVR) announced that its services started today and will operate between Namanve, Kibuye, Nalukolongo among other places in Kampala.

In Namanve the trains will kick off the journey at 7:00am and arrive in Kampala at 8:35am. The news statement indicates that the return journeys to Namanve will depart from Kampala at 5:00pm and 6:30pm respectively.

The statement further indicated that passengers will cough 1,500 shillings for a single journey and 3,000 shillings for double journey that’s to and fro.
