]]> It looks like DP President Norbert Mao is ready to give a try of presidential campaigns in the next general elections. He told the people of Masaka Municipality over the weekend that he will not mistreat Baganda or expel Banyarwanda living in Uganda when he comes to power.

Mao says that although he comes from northern Uganda , he can lead the country and he has the principles of being a good leader.

The DP head tells the party supporters in Masaka that NRM supporters and cadres have been spreading rumours that Mao will mistreat Baganda and expel Banywaranda when DP takes over power.

However, Mao promised that DP will get ride of all the ‘thieves’ if it happens to takeover power after 2016 general elections.

]]> Members of Parliament on both opposition and government ticket want the ruling government to get out of power.

Lwemiyaga MP Theodre Sekikubo says that many MPs including those supposed to dance on government believe in change and they are ready to implement the same. He tells us that the 9th parliament is no long interested in protecting the image of the corrupt people in government.

He says that Uganda is bigger than NRM that is why most MPs are not willing to keep a corrupt government in power. Sekikubo says for him is not concerned whether it is FDC, UPC or DP ruling Uganda as long as the government is torture and corruption free.

He says that his strength in no longer in government but in Ugandans who want Uganda to get ride of corruption, and ill treatment. Sekikubo says that president Museveni and ideology of the ruling party is so good but it is being destroyed by the corrupt within its ranks.
