Col. Kizza Besigye has said he is still mourning the death of the father of Uganda’s head of state, Mr. Amos Kaguta. Kaguta died at International Hospital Kampala last week. Thousands of people went to witness his burial. Besigye, while meeting his party members at the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) head offices in Kampala, welcomed all people went to Rwakitura for the final send off of Mr. Kaguta and also to commiserate with president Museveni and his entire family in that trying moment of grief.

But in my observation; Besigye says, he asks himself a question that why was Mzee Kaguta buried at the grave yard single handedly in Rwakitura?

He says that he had expected to see mzee Amos laid at a grave yard where his fore fathers were laid because in African traditions people have continuity of generations and Ugandans have never heard of the president’s grand parents who bore mzee Amos. In African culture people respect ancestors that is why they are buried at the same grave yards. So Besigye in a joking manner wondered whether we only have mzee Amos Kaguta -Yoweri Museveni and Muhoozi Kaineruga. He was seeking clarity on this!

Intelligence reports indicate that A4C is to spread anti government crusades in westernUgandain a bid to discredit Museveni’s government.

The A4C coordinator, Matthias Mpuuga confirms that they are preparing to storm western Uganda starting with Rwakitura and Mbararar sensitizing the masses there on the economic situation and their rights.

However we have been told by a source in government that statehouse has directed police to ensure that such rallies don’t take place in Mbarara.

According to caucus vice chairman David Bahati, the meeting is supposed to begin on Sunday and will last for two days.

Bahati says the meeting is a retreat meant for MPs to discuss economic transformation where members will also be taken to the field for studies.

Meanwhile, sources told us that the meeting was summoned to enable the party chairman, Museveni to teach the new legislators party cohesion because some of them continue to oppose the party positions on the floor of parliament on crucial issues.
