]]> Intelligence reports have it that some groups of rebels have started recruiting members in western Uganda, an area known as the back borne support of the Uganda ruling party, the National Resistance Movement.

The intelligence reports indicate that the police have already arrested an LCI chairperson of Kasharara Village in Sanga Sub-county, Kiruhura District with boxes of ammunition.

The South Western Region Police Commander, Paul Nkore confirms that the police have arrested an LCI chairperson with boxes of ammunition. He says that the police are also investigating the guards at the home of late Maj. Gen. James Kazini’s home in Sanga.

The region police commander says that police have interrogated the LCI official and it has got crucial information highly needed in security circles.
