]]> The president General of the Democratic Party (DP), Norbert Mao is in trouble after his Benz registration number UAJ 799T hit a disabled man and broke his ribs.

A source in police says that Mao committed the crime on November 16th at Speeke Hotel in Kampala opposite Sheraton Hotel and hid the car for over three months.

The matter was registered at CPS police station in Kampala as Ref 1839/2010. Mao accepts that it is his car that knocked the disabled person but he was not the one driving.

He has however agreed to compensate the victim who is still bedridden at Mulago hospital.

Mao says that someone drove his car and hit the disabled person during last national elections fever.
