We have been told that Yawe using his brother Bobi Wine as an assurance that he would pay got the machines he is currently using in his studio on loan which he has failed to clear up to day.

Yawe got the loan four years back. A source in Bobi Wine’s Firebase crew has told our news desk that Yawe got the machines from a Ugandan businessman based in US pledging that he will settle the debt within one year. But now it is four years down the road.

We hear that the businessman has already reported the matter to the police in US such that it connects with their counterparts in Uganda to see how they can open up charges against Yawe and perhaps Bobi Wine because he was the guarantor.

Chagga’s wife divorced him when the singer was abroad on Kyeyo (odd jobs). The wife reportedly accused the singer of not providing for the family whereas he was in the US , the state believed to be flowing milk and money.

When Chagga returned home, he found that his wife had vanished away. So attempts to lure her back home ensued. We hear that the wife has now accumulated a lot of wealth while Chagga got problems in US and returned to Uganda with no dollars.

In fact Chagga is currently staying a studio in Najjanankumbi owned by his friend, singer Ronnie Banton.

It looks like this has been Iryn Namubiru’s year. After winning the PAM awards last month, and releasing more than three songs, the songbird we hear is building three million shillings pad in Kabowa in Lubaga division, Kampala .

The eight bed-roomed pad has a fully equipped music studio, garage, small swimming pool, and a tennis court is under way.

The ‘Birowoozo byoyo eyagenda natadda’ star seems to be walking while her short nose is lifted up because she has joined a group of few female musicians who have constructed expensive pads in Kampala.

Although some people claim that Namubiru has got the cash from music, others suspect that much of her money is from her French hubby.
