There are 10 things you may not know about green tea. The antioxidants in green tea help you to stay strong and healthy.

Drinking green tea also improves cardiovascular health and the polyphenols reduce bad cholesterol. Green tea can protect against certain types of cancers, including skin cancer, lung cancer and breast cancer.

Doctors say that green tea also helps you to lose excessive weight easily, and it relaxes the blood vessels and lowers high blood pressure.

It may also reduce on the oxidative stress caused by breathing problems. It has ant-bacterial properties that help you to reduce on bacterial acne.

Several people wonder how they can deal with the problem of indigestion. If you are facing this health problem, drink water before or after a meal.

Chew ginger bites thoroughly and peppermint. Chewing ginger and peppermint in company of a cup of dry tea is good for the digestive system.

Relaxing reduces stress, add lemon juice, honey and ginger to lukewarm water and drink.

Eat small meals and slowly eat foods rich in magnesium (vegetables). Don’t lie down right after eating and avoid foods with high amount of acids.

Cut back on alcohol and smoking because they irritate stomach lining. Eat energy giving foods and food supplements.

The people who are fasting and sportsmen should eat foods that are rich in natural fibre and comprise other nutritional elements e.g.  calcium, potassium, oil, sulfur, iron, vitamins, iron, phosphorus, manganese and copper.

How to keep a cold at bay? Keep the neck, shoulders, ears and head warm.

Cause your body to sweat, drink hot herbal teas but green tea is the best according to the world health experts.

Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day and once a week eat a plant-based diet. Go for garlic, drink yogurt, cheese and or milk for your body to function well, and produce heart.

Take vitamin C to boost your body immunity, supplement your diet with zinc daily to aid proper immunity.

Cut your sugar intake. A teaspoon of sugar can lower your body immunity.
