]]> Kalungu West MP Joseph Sewungu is disappointed at the manner in which the government is handling the issue of teachers Colleges which has forced some of them to close down due to inadequate funding.

Addressing Journalists in Kampala Sewungu said the government must find funds within the shortest time possible to enable all Teacher Colleges to re-open because the State has the capacity to facilitate all higher Institutions of learning and cannot say that it cannot re-open them.

Sewungu gave an ultimatum to the government of one week to address the plight of Teachers in Uganda and has vowed to organize all Teachers to pitch camp at Parliament until the issues put forward are addressed.
