]]> Thomas Elema, a private securing attached to SENAKA Security has been sentenced to six months in jail for stealing a security camera.

The suspect pledged guilty and was sentenced to Luzira prison in Kampala.

On November 29th 2018, Elema stole the camera from a warehouse of one of the contractors meant to install these cameras.He was then investigated at and taken to Nakawa Court on December 6, 2018.

Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, Mr Luke Owoyesigyire said the suspect pledged guilty for the offence.

Owoyesigyire then dismissed reports that the vandalized camera was part of the recently installed CCTV cameras to help police in fighting in urban crime.
