The Minister of Trade and Tourism Industry Kahinda Otafire has challenged his successors to ensure the implementation of the 24 projects left in the pipeline.

The projects include the construction of 60 storage building to accommodate the ministry offices and construction of the Uganda trade centre where the Uganda museum currently stands.

Otafire made the call at a ceremony where he and his three state ministers officially handed over their offices to the permanent secretary Julius Onene.

The term of office for all ministers expired on May 11th and president Yoweri Museveni who was sworn in on Thursday is expected to name a new cabinet any time.
