The deceased have been identified as Lieutenant Col. Patrick Tibiha of the 23^rd battalion, lieutenant Lawrence Tugume from the tank battalion, Captain Abdullah Isabirye and Augustine Kuloba.

Lieutenant Tibiha comes from Kasese district Bukonzo county Mukunyu sub –county in Nyamuhunzi village.

According to the UPDF spokesperson Lieutenant Felex Kulaigye says the deceased ware hit during the operations with AMISON after capturing of the Bondere district.

He however said despite the setbacks, AMISON forces have had significance success with the transitional federal government in Somalia and now controlling about 70% of the Mogadishu.
