Foot care tips for you. Wash your feet daily and trim your toes and nails because long nails can harbour bacteria which cause infections.

Seek medical attention and have wounds treated appropriately in order to avoid hurts on your foot.

Check your feet for blisters, cuts, sores, redness or swelling almost everyday. Learn to take foot injuries seriously.

Don’t walk barefoot and protect your feet with comfortable socks and shoes. Even when you are indoors, make sure new shoes fit well.

The Rwandese national and a resident in Kibaale district was admitted at Kagadi hospital nursing severe wounds after his genitals were cut off for allegedly committing adultery.

Mr. Daniel Habwalimana Byaruhanga of Nyamarunda in Buyanja County had his private parts chopped off by one Munyaneza who allegedly found him sleeping with his wife at Nyamuranda trading center.

Munyaneza’s wife denied sleeping with Byaruhanga. She told the police that Byaruhanga had just paid her a visit and her husband thought he was her boyfriend. Police arrested Munyaneza as investigations in the case continue. Byaruhanga’s genitals are now being kept in a deep freezer as exhibit.

Dryness is the main cause of pain during sex and the female private parts may feel itchy. Dr. Samuel Matovu of Ndejje health IV says that dryness is sometimes a symptom of virginal illness, irritation, and wounds inside the woman’s parts. He says that the woman’s private parts may become dry when she is tired, bored, on tension, and when she is over stressed.

Stress among other issues raised makes women private parts thinner and less elastic. Dr. Matovu also says that the use of contraceptives also weaken the cells that are responsible for producing fluids in the woman’s private parts. Genital damage that could be caused by childbirth is another reason that sometimes causes dryness. Dr. Matovu says that other factors that cause dryness could be candida, virginal surgery, diabetes dehydration and gastric ulcers. Watch this space for solutions soon.
