Turkey to construct Airlines in East Africa

The Turkish investors plan to invest over $400m in East Africa’s energy, agriculture, mining, education, air transport and manufacturing sectors.

The spokesman of Kampala City Traders Association (KACITA), Issa Sekitto says Uganda and East Africa’s investors welcome the Turkish investment plans in the region.

He says the Turkish investors now have confidence in East African countries of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania and Kenya.

KACITA leaders also request that the next Turkish trade summit be conducted in Uganda so that exports from East Africa Community be given priority in European/American markets.
