U.S.A warns its citizens in Uganda

 

Following reports that Al-Shabaab rebels plan to bomb Kampala, the United States government has warned its citizens against moving in groups of Ugandans. The Al Shabaab terrorists last bombed Uganda on 11th July 2010. During this twin bombings in Kampala over 79 people who were watching the soccer World Cup final died.

The U.S intelligence network indicates that Al Shabaab attackers were already in Kampala ready to kill Ugandans over president Museveni’s continued deployment of soldiers in Mogadishu.

The Alqaida backed fighters ready to strike targets inside Kampala in February or March 2014 according to a statement by the U.S. Embassy in Kampala posted on its website.

The Barrack Obama government claims that the UgandaNationalMuseum is a potential target and the United States had urged its citizens to avoid the site and “other crowded public places in Uganda.
