Uganda bomb blast victims need counselling to heal

The president of the Uganda counselling association Henry Nsubuga has said survivors and relatives of those who lost their dear ones during the 11th July Bombings at Lugogo Rugby club and Ethiopian village in Kabalaga in Kampala last year need emotional support like counseling in order to heal.

Addressing survivors and relatives of survivors of the bomb blasts, Nsubuga noted that emotional healing is often neglected by those who feel physical healing is enough.
He called on government and counselling agencies to consider the emotional healing of the victims’ of the 11th July city bombings in Kampala which claimed lives of over 80 people and left many others injured.

Nsubuga added that Uganda counselling Association has pitched camp at Lugogo rugby club to provide counselling to all those affected by the bomb blasts.
