Uganda government feeds wild animals on human fresh

The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) has said wild animals in Uganda are free to kill people and feast on their fresh because there is no law to compensate families whose relatives have been eaten by animals. Many people living around game parks get killed and eaten by wild animals.

Andrew Seguya the executive director of Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) says members of parliament need to enact a law regarding compensation of people killed or eaten by wild animals.

Seguya names somes of the wild animals that kill and eat people as lions, crocodiles, elephants and leopards. Sometimes the animals come out of protected areas and eat people.

The people whose relatives have been eaten by wild animals petitioned Parliament and the ministry of tourism to help them out. But the government of Uganda is much interested in financing security.
