Iranian Investors have been asked to exploit the opportunity of doing business with Uganda, before other countries take advantage of the same.

Speaking at a business forum organized by the Uganda Investment Authority, the State minister for Investment, Aston Kajara has said that Uganda offers better opportunities in sectors like manufacturing, where the market is developing as a result of regional economic integration.

Kajara says that, this will enhance a free trade zone between Uganda and Iran, spreading further to the Middle East.

The Uganda Investment Authority Executive Director Dr. Maggie Kigozi says, the Iranians are focusing on development of Agro based industries, mining and Agriculture produce.

Dr. Kigozi adds that about 300 thousand Ugandans stand a chance to benefit from this partnership through direct employment.
