FDC secretary for information who also doubles as the shadow information minister, Philip Wafula Ogutu says the running of issues in Kampala Capiral City Authority is improper due to what he termed as direct interference by the President.

Ogutu says Lukwago was elected by the people who want their issues raised and should be given enough space to serve and implement his manifesto. Ogutu adds that since Museveni appointed Musisi, he should allow her perform her duties without interference.

Wafula Ogutu now wants the mayor to investigate more into all his predecessor Nassar Ntege Sebagala’s wrongs during his reign. There are reports of many shoddy deals including sale of Kampala city land and properties, as well as awarding questionable contracts during Sebagala’s reign.
