Uganda’s entrepreneurs challenged to embrace a banking culture in their businesses

Entrepreneurs have been challenged to always involve financial institutions in businesses so that they can thrive.

The Commissioner of Financial Services at the Ministry of Finance Steven Kasangaki asked Ugandans to embrace the culture of banking and also insuring their businesses in order to prosper.

Speaking at the 7th Finance, Banking and Insurance expo at UMA Show Grounds Kasangaki emphasized the need to have knowledge of the existence of the banks and insurance companies. The ongoing exhibition seeks to give financial advice to Ugandans on matters of financial access and the significance of insurance cover to their businesses.

Kasangaki said that such events are beneficial because they create awareness to Ugandans of the existence of the relevant institutions.
