UNEB announces dates it will release PLE, S4 and S6 exams

The spokesperson of Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB), Hamis Kaheru has said that lack of funds has set UNEB behind schedule.

The marking of Advanced (A-Level) exams was supposed to start on January 2, 2014 but up to now it has not yet commenced. Kaheru says another date to start the marking will be communicated.

Kaheru says the delay of the marking of exams is likely to affect the release of Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) and Senior 4 examination results, whose marking is complete, but still awaiting tallying.

UNEB had orignary planned to release the PLE exam results on January 16 and the O’ Level results at the end of January 2014. But the education minister Jesicca Alupo has asked UNEB to release the results as per schedule.
