UPC decry poor performance in UPE

NRM Party will lay strategies during the retreat to plan ahead of 2016 general elections and see how they can win majority seats in all elective offices.
NRM Publicity Secretary Evelyn Anite while addressing the press ahead of NRM caucus annual retreat at National Leadership Institute in Kyankwanzi said the members will review the NRM Manifesto and see how they have performed as well consolidate on what is still remaining.
Anite noted that NRM Party has performed well and therefore this retreat will be used to lay strategies on how they can win the hearts of Ugandans to lead them come 2016.

The party will spend over 350 Million shs to cater for 300 members who are going to attend the a 10 day retreat under the theme NRM Manifesto 2011-2016 progress,challenges and opportunities.

OTUNU DISMAYED BY UPE PERFORMANCE IN PLE 5TH/FEB/14.

UPC president, Amb. Olara Otunu has showed displeasure about the poor performance of PLE by pupils in UPE schools saying 50% of these schools did not register any first grade which is a huge disappointment to the nation and those that fund the programme.

Otunu also continues to reveal that the rate of primary school dropout is alarming at which give no reason for govt to continue funding the programme.

He however calls for a drastic review of this programme to cause positive change for the beneficiaries.
