UPDF officer murder trial postponed again

Hearing of the case in which a UPDF officer is accused of shooting dead three people and injuring another has been adjourned to tomorrow morning.

This is after the defence lawyer Martin Muhumuza rejected evidence presented by the sixth prosecution witness.

Lt Ishaka Twaha Lutanaziba attached to the military police presented quoting Arms Ammunition Returns report pinning the accused over the murder of the three people.

However, Muhumuza told court that it was wrong for Lutanaziba to present evidence from a document he did not author.

He asked the Chairman to adjourn the case to tomorrow to enable him table documents that support his position.
