US companies eye East African oil

 

The Clinton Foundation has agreed to build an edible oil processing factory in East Africa at a place called Kayonza Province, Rwanda.

The former President of United States of America, Bill Clinton signed a partnership agreement with Mount Meru Soy Co Limited (based in Tanzania on behalf of the Clinton Foundation.

The Rwanda Social Security and Kayonza Council represented the Kigali government in the public private partnership agreement which President Clinton launched last week.

The function was held at the factory’s premises and it was also attended by the Rwanda President, Gen. Paul Kagame. Clinton foundation has invested capital in so many companies in Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
