images (9)Although men and women have many things in common, we are also different in some important ways. Learning to accept these differences can help you to better understand your girlfriend or your wife. It can even help you better understand a large number of women that you come into contact with.

To be able to have a great relationship with a female, you need to first understand the rationale behind the things they do. Here are some of those things that may help you understand her even better:

We often handle our emotions completely differently than you do. If a man is feeling angry or frustrated, he may go play ice hockey, and slam some people into the boards. He may go start a fight in a bar. Men often act out their emotions, rather than express them gently through words.

However we, often express our emotions verbally. We talk about our feelings to our friends, we talk about our problems to our families. We may even seek the listening ear of a stranger we happen to talk to. Sometimes, you may even wonder how we have so many emotions, but we do. And we are much more likely to process them differently than you will.

We need bathroom buddies. For men, going to the bathroom is almost always a solitary experience. In fact, asking another man to accompany you to the bathroom could seem highly suspicious to the average dude.

However for us, we just love to go to the bathroom together. We do this for two reasons. First, we usually synchronize our breaks so as not to miss out on any of the conversation. And two, we like to gussy up when we go to the bathroom, so we like having a female friend around to tell them if our outfit looks okay or if we can borrow some lipstick.

Men and women don’t always share the same taste in movies. While you may love your action movies, WWI documentaries and your male humor comedy movies, it’s going to be difficult to convince your girlfriend that these are the best types of movies out there.

Women usually prefer romantic comedies, sappy love stories like The Notebook or movies that have a strong female lead. Although these movies may seem pointless and way too dramatic for your taste, women tend to be drawn to movies that center on people and their individual emotions, as opposed to the collective experience of a certain event.

Women will talk about you to their friends. Remember how women express their emotions through talking? If you are just starting to date, or are hooking up with a girl, she will talk about you to her friends because they love to process things together.

We like to get the feedback and support from our friends, while also asking them for some inside information on our experience with a particular situation. While you may keep your hookups or your dating life more private to avoid being the guy who kisses and tells, there is a fat chance that your female counterpart won’t do the same. This is probably what they are doing in the bathroom together for so long.

We love to cuddle. Although cuddling may seem annoying or unnecessary to you a lot of the time, many of us females love it. Remember, women tend to be nurturing and affectionate, and they like to reinforce their bond with another person. This is why cuddling tops the list of many a woman’s favorite things to do.

We love all things cute. It may be extremely difficult for the average guy to comprehend, but women can be completely obsessed with anything that they consider cute. It could be a handbag, a pair of shoes, or even a color of paint.

If the particular thing passes through our cute filters, we will most likely love it, and want it. You may not have any idea why one pair of shoes is cute, and the next is “ew.” But we do, and we are going to act accordingly, so be prepared.

Most women want commitment. Although committing to a girl might be a big fear of yours, the chances are that the girl you are dating wants commitment. Women don’t like to feel like they are being used for their bodies, or that they are just another passing fancy. They want their emotional investments to be more worthwhile than just another one night stand.

Women love weddings. Going through an expensive, elaborate, stressful wedding might not be your favorite thing in the world, but chances are your girlfriend or fiancée has been dreaming of this moment ever since she saw her first Disney princess movie.

We love to fantasize about the perfect dress, the beautiful diamond ring, and getting married in front of all of our friends and family. Being a bride can be an extremely special thing for a woman. So, even if you are stressed out by all of the proceedings, it may be best not to show it. The wedding is always the most important moment of our entire life.

Women like to dance in groups. While the concept of getting together with a bunch of your male friends and going dancing together with women may baffle you, this is something that we actually like to do.

It is a way for us to get together, and let off some steam doing something that we enjoy. A male equivalent of this is probably something along the lines of drinking beer, playing basketball or playing video games.

Women want to communicate with you about almost everything. Communication can be one of the hardest obstacles in a relationship. But despite the fact that you may have a difficult time expressing yourself in words, women oftentimes need you to be able to let them know what is going on with you emotionally.

Women can be very in tune emotionally, and it can be difficult for us if you are refusing to express yourself through words and peaceful communication. So, that is something to keep in mind.

Sometimes, it is difficult for men to fully understand certain things that women do. However, learning to accept us as we are rather than trying to get us to change would be way better for your relationship.

You may not completely comprehend why we do what they do, but the things you don’t have in common may actually strengthen your attraction for her.

Dryness of the lips is caused by bacteria, though these bacterias  can not be spread from one person to the other. Lips add more value to your beauty and it’s good to keep them wet whether you’re a man or woman you should avoid having dry lips.

Causes of dry lips

  • Dehydration
  • Too much sunshine
  • Constant use of lip balm
  • Malaria
  • Malnutrition
  • Stress and depression

What you should do

  • Take at least 6glasses of water a day
  • Avoid too much lip gloss
  • Eat salads and fruits
  • Do a lot of exercise

How to care for your lips

  • Fold a tissue in half and run it under water
  • Squeeze it so that it is not soaking, but moist/damp.
  • Run it over your lips. This will moisten them.
  • Apply Vaseline or petroleum jelly. This will moisten and soften your lips
  • Press your lips together for 15-30 seconds. Make sure the Vaseline/petroleum jelly is well absorbed.
  • Apply a thin coat of lipstick (it’s usually best to stick with neutral tones, but if bright reds andsuch work on you, go for it!)
  • Blot out by kissing off the excess lipstick on the back of your hand. DO NOT use a tissue for this, as little bits could stick to your lips.
  • Apply a thicker coat of lip gloss. This will give it shine.
  • Get some moisturizer (the thicker the better). After you’ve brushed your teeth at night, put the moisturizer on your lips, rubbing it on them and a little bit around your mouth until you can’t see it. Then, get some more and dab a thick layer onto your lips so your lips look white (the color of the moisturizer). Leave it on overnight, and during the night it will soak into your lips and dry, leaving them smooth, soft and perfect.

In Uganda there is an organization called IF Child Help Uganda. It is a branch office of the International Federation for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. IF Child Uganda works together with hospitals and rehabilitation centers to provide interdisciplinary care for persons with spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

Specialized neurosurgical care for children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus in Uganda is offered by CURE children’s hospital in Mbale. Since its opening in 2000, CURE has become a center of excellence for neurosurgery and has developed a multidisciplinary approach for the care of children with spina bifida and for prevention efforts.

After neurosurgery, children receive medical review, rehabilitation and social support services through a follow-up system of clinics in Gulu (AVSI Foundation/ Gulu Regional Rehabilitation Center), Regional Referral Hospitals, Katalemwa Cheshire  Home (Kampala), Lira Regional Referral Hospital, and Our Useful Rehabilitation Services for Persons with Disabilities (OURS-in Mbarara).

Rehabilitation activities include physiotherapy, occupational therapy, provision of appliances, clean intermittent catheterization and bowel management, and community based rehabilitation. Social support is provided through parent support groups, self-help groups of parent with children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, counseling, and lobbying at schools to promote inclusive education.

Parliament on Thursday (according to MP Nabilah Sempala) had this to say; “there will be no fooling around when it comes to fixing what it termed a “horrid” system that is in “an utter state of disrepair.”

We the MPs are willing to back up the truck to raid the state treasury if need be, waive whatever ministry of finance protections and constitutional hurdles if any, that get in the way and seek contempt-of-court citations against any Minister or any government bureaucrat who tries to thwart our efforts to rejuvenate Uganda’s medical system.

“We the MPs are on our way,”. “We’ll get medical care where medical care has to be, because we think we have the authority to do that over time. It’s just a monstrous path to get there.”
The hospitals have no medical personnel on board, and its general conditions, units are dilapidated! “That’s the kind of thing we are talking about.” There has to be a massive change of culture within the service delivery system in general and with medical care in particular. Ugandans need to be looked at as human beings, in addition to being patients.

“Not everybody in Uganda can afford private clinics”
Many needless deaths are not investigated! Altogether, some 65% of all deaths in Uganda occur needlessly in the hospital and health system every year.

“Those are mothers who perished because of either lack of access to care or, more horrifically, access to care,”!

We as parliament need to continue to work hand in hand with Ministry of Health in order to remedy all the problems in the medical system,”!

Thursday’s Budgets’ Statement left us saying that we will not be shy in exercising our receiver’s authority, especially when it comes to making sure we have enough money to get the job done.

“Something you must realize about money,” is we do have legislative appropriations to fund this. The power of parliament includes calling the ministry of finance, going to the budget committee — we’ve already worked out the arrangement — and taking the money, seizing the money, through a writ of execution. And if we have to do that, we will.”

Scientists tell us that a toothbrush can be a gateway for bacteria infections. Brushing regularly helps you to maintain a health smile.

But that wont last if you don’t take proper care of your toothbrush and switch 2 a new one frequently.

Toothbrushes should be changed after every three months because it wears out easily when used for along time. Over using a toothbrush makes it to accumulate a lot of dirty particles underneath.

Likewise poor storage of toothbrush is dangerous to our health by introducing germs into the body. It is not good to keep toothbrushes together in a cup.

Find the good quality on the market-one which is not too hard or too soft. While hard bristles injure the germ, the soft ones would not do it well. Always rinse your toothbrush with warm water after every use and change it after you have had a dental disease.

As a precaution measures, doctors put women with multiple pregnancy to bed rest in order to prevent early dilation of the cervix.
Women should also avoid strenuous activities during pregnancy, infections like yeast and bacterial vaginosis should be managed quickly to avoid pre-mature labour.
Treating symptoms of a vaginal infection if necessary can help to diminish the risk of pre-mature rupture of the membranes. Keeping your antenatal appointments can also help in monitoring of the pregnancy. Pre-term labour is defined as regular contractions and dilation of the cervix before the 37th week of pregnancy.
It can be induced by a health care provider due to pregnancy complication or it could happen spontaneously. Pre-term labour is caused by multiple pregnancies. This is because when a woman is carrying a multiple pregnancy, her uterus expands more than usual and it may exert pressure on the cervix to open earlier than usual infections.

Two executives from Motorcare company appeared before anti –corruption court over charges of conniving with former vice president, Prof. Gilbert Bukenya to be awarded the contract of purchasing BMW motor vehicles which were used during CHOGM.

The Chief Executive Officer Per Lundgren and the Finance director Klaus Karstensen together with Bukenya, have however denied the charges before Justice Paul Mugamba.

It is alleged that the trio committed the offence between July 2006 and November 2009 when Bukenya was the chairperson of the cabinet sub-committee on CHOGM.

Hearing of the matter has been fixed for Friday next week.

Last week, Justice Mugamba declined to commence the trial of the case following the failure by the directors of Motor Care to appear in court in person. Justice Mugamba said Professor Gilbert Bukenya could not stand trial alone in the case in the absence of his co-accused.

He rejected explanations from Edmand Wakida, a lawyer representing Motorcare, and Moses Banturaki, the sales and marketing manager who claimed that they had been authorized to represent the company.

He therefore asked the officials to appear in court in person this morning.
