Cholesterol is a fatty substance that is a natural part of every cell in your body. Your body needs it for proper healing, brain function and nerve transmission.
Your liver produces cholesterol, but it is also a byproduct of the food that you eat.
Stress, injuries and other aspects that negatively affect the body produces excess cholesterol as a healing response.
Many chronic or long-term health conditions will spike cholesterol levels and put you at risk of heart disease and stroke.
There are two types of cholesterol i.e Low-density lipoproteins [LDL (bad fats) and high-density lipoprotein [HDL] (good fats).

 

To reduce on cholesterol one needs to reduce on meat and milk intake plus junk foods and drinks. The sources of cholesterol may include ground nuts and avocado.

Amaranth seeds (Doodo) contain about 12%-13% protein. Unlike most grains, doodo seeds contain lysine, a type of amino acid which helps to build, maintain and repair body tissues.
Amaranth flour is also high in dietary fibre. It contains three times as much as fibre as wheat and twice as much as corn and Oats. Because of this, Amaranth seeds helps to promote a healthy digestive system, considering the fact that high fibre diets are known to reduce risk of colon cancer.
Doodo also has unsaturated vitamin E in it and it has good cholesterol which promotes heart health.
The plant seeds are also suitable for children since their bodies require essential fatty acids for proper growth and development.
It is also recommended for diabetic patients because of its grain and oils which help to improve glucose and lipid (fat] metabolism.

Hundreds of people around the world consume ground nuts prepared or cooked in many forms.

Some people eat ground nuts when they are in raw form, others eat them steamed or roasted but still all consumers get the benefits of ground nuts.

However to benefit fully, ground nuts should be steamed but not roasted or fried. While others crush ground nuts and make sauce, it can reduce heart diseases and stroke by 50g%.

Eating ground nuts helps to check dementia, gall stones, macular degeneration and diabetes. Ground nuts have zero content of cholesterol and less amount of sugar.
