Robots are deployed with an aim to curb the spread of the virus and to reduce the risk of infecting medical personnel. According to  the local media, robots are  deployed  in city hospitals such as Guangzhou, Jiangxi, Chengdu, Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin.

The 5G-powered medical robots are equipped with cameras that allow remote video communication, patient monitoring and safely delivery medical goods (medicine) to patient.

Keenon Robotics Co., a Shanghai-based company, deployed 16 robots of a model nicknamed “little peanut” to a hospital in Hangzhou.

Siasun Robot and Automation Co. donated seven medical robots and 14 catering service robots to the Shenyang Red Cross to help hospitals combat the virus

JD.com Inc. is testing the use of autonomous delivery robots in Wuhan

China Mobile Ltd. donated one 5G robot each to both Wuhan Union Hospital and Tongji Tianyou Hospital.

The increased quantity of robots deployed to combat the coronavirus has helped accelerate China’s path to the goal it had already set for itself. The country wants to become one of the world’s top 10 most intensively automated nations by the end of this year.

According to the virus is called “Coronavirus”, the virus is very deadly virus that kills a person within  7 days.

The government has  quickly responded to the out break  by Constructing a hospital to curb the virus. the hospital will accommodate 1,300 people.

The hospital will be completed by 3 February.

The new center located at Wuhan will be made out of prefabricated buildings and its medical supplies and equipment will be brought in from neighboring hospitals.

International Engineers have been hired across the country  to complete the construction in time.

The hospital will have an X-ray room, CT room, intensive-care unit, laboratory and each ward equipped with its own bathrooms.

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Symptoms Include;

• runny nose
• headache
• cough
• sore throat
• fever
• a general feeling of being unwell

Safety measures to follow

• WHO recommends basic hand hygiene such as washing hands with soap and water, and making sure to cover your mouth with your elbow when sneezing or coughing.

• Avoid unnecessary, unprotected contact with animals and be sure to thoroughly wash hands after contact.

• Ensure meat consumed is cooked thoroughly.
