The King (Kabaka) of Buganda kingdom, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has sent a message of condolence to the government of Uganda, National Resistance Movement organisation (NRM) and the family of Eriya Kategaya following his death at Nairobi Hospital on Sunday.

Kategaya, 70, was Uganda’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Affairs. In his message, the Kabaka said the death of Kategaya, who he describes as his man, was not only a big loss to his family but also a tragedy to Buganda kingdom and Uganda as a whole.

In a condolence message, the Kabaka said that late Kategaya was not confrontational in his approaches and that he (Kategaya) had left a huge vacuum within NRM, Uganda government, his family, Buganda kingdom, Uganda as a country and East Africa and Africa as a whole.

Kabaka Mutebi says that Late Kategaya was a humble man of outstanding ability and he would be remembered for his active role in supporting the development of Uganda.

We have been told by sources in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) that the burial of president Museveni’s father, Amos Kaguta will cost the family and Ugandan taxpayers at large 34 billion shillings.

The sources told us that the 34 billion shillings would be spent on accommodating and feeding mourners who will include international diplomats. The source further alleges that the money will come from the presidential budget and from the coffers of the ruling party.

Kaguta passed away on Friday morning at the International Hospital in Kampala. President Museveni in a message to all Ugandans has described his late date as “a father, grandfather, great grandfather, nationalist, freedom fighter and father of the nation.”

The FDC president General, Col. Kiiza Besigye has said that president Museveni and his political allies are slowly getting the message that Ugandans are tired of their regime.

Besigye says that President Museveni is now increasingly getting surprised that his supporters are becoming more bold or bolder to show to him that they are tired of his leadership by voting opposition candidates against the government candidates in the ongoing parliamentary by elections.

The FDC president says that soon some key people in Government will ask Museveni that …this is his last term in office as president of Uganda.

Besigye says that here all things will start tumbling like a pack of cards with another election loss, one after the other. The opposition leader says that Museveni has started panicking. This is the reason why he is using police, electoral commission and the army to rig votes and to intimidate voters. The president of FDC says that people have started looking at police as a ”yellow police”.

He says that Ugandans are now determined to defend their rights and fear of president Museveni’s oppression is lost.

Besigye says that Uganda will soon have the first black African uprising. The inspector general of police, Kale Kayihura will order Grace Turyagumanawe to fire in the crowds and Turyagumanawe will not dare, will stay put and people will keep on coming.

”When? Soon …where? Everywhere! by who? by all the voiceless people in all corners of Uganda, and the yellow police and the CMI’s will be overstretched. Really, yes, it’s possible,” Besigye told the people of Kasese Municipality on Wednesday.

As hundreds of Ugandans in different parts of the country spent the whole of today evening cursing heavy rainfall, some people found an opportunity in it because it gathered congregations for him.

Like this born again pastor we met at City Centre Complex in Kampala who saw a crowd standing on the verandah and he stood in the rain and started preaching the word of GOD.
The pastor assured the people standing on the verandah that even if they have always dodged going to Church, today they have no way of escaping because God has gathered them at the verandah. The pastor exhibited how Ugandans can take advantage of mess and turn it into a living message.

Some unscrupulous people are fond of hacking into email addresses of people and send messages to people in contacts boxes. Many times the messages they send are asking people for money.

If you find such messages in your yahoo addresses you may first inquire to know exactly whether it is the real person you know sending such messages to you.

The moment you discover that the sender of the message is not that person you know just delete those messages. And if unscrupulous people use your email address to send people messages, feel sorry and apologise for the inconveniences caused. Tell the people affected that you are fine and not involved in any accident, arrested, sick etc.

In most times unscrupulous people enter into our email addresses when they go to internet cafes and found them not signed out. Sometimes they may access your passwords from your writings, friends, phones etc.

A senior Catholic Church Archbishop knelt down before a copse of a woman, and sobbed. He nearly failed to lead the prayers he was meant to perform. When Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, knelt down, the members of the Catholic Church who were with him also wept and other’s who could not afford weeping at least sobbed

This was during a special service held on Monday at Rubaga Catholic Church Cathedral at midday to pray for the Soul of Archbishop, Cyprian Kizito Lwanga’s beloved mother, Maltida Nakkonde Wamala. She died on Monday last week at the age of 92. Hundreds of people attended the mass that was organised to pray for late Nakkonde.

Many speakers described late Nakkonde as a woman who helped many people to know God. The Supreme Mufti of Uganda, Sheikh Zubair Kayongo in his message he sent to Bishop Kizito Lwanga the deceased had left the world at the time when the country needed are mature advises.

The policemen who work with opposition face to lose their jobs. A source in Uganda police have told us this evening that the inspector general of police, Kale Kayihura in a radio call message today warned that its illegal for civil servants to work with opposition members.

The source quoted Kayihura as saying that there are some police officers who leak our secrets to the members of opposition. But we are told the police’s disciplinary team is investigating the reports and the officers who would be found guilty shall lose their jobs or be demoted.

Recently the police reshuffled the policemen who were working at parliament following allegations that they were working closely with the leader of opposition Nathan Nandala Mafabi and with other opposition MPs.
