Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz has suspended his wedding with his Kenyan girlfriend Tanasha Donna raising doubts amongst fans.

The fans who have been desperately waiting to be witness to the decor and splendor of the Tanzania-Kenya union were struck by the sudden decision by the ‘wanchekecha’ singer.

The wedding that was slated for 14th February, Valentine’s day, has been pushed to an undisclosed date.

He furthermore noted that his wedding was set to host the famous American rapper Rick Ross, Omarion and many more people of high regards.

The Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine arrived in Nairobi, Kenya on October 10, the eve of the Moi day celebration

Bobi Wine was invited by the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association. Kenyan politician and legislator Babu Owino went to his Twitter handle to express his gratitude towards the visit of the ‘freedom’ it maker to Kenya.

“I wish to take this opportunity to announce to the nation that the Hon Robert Kyagulanyi/ @HEBobiwine will be leading a delegation of young Ugandan Members of Parliament to Kenya this Moi Day, Wednesday, October 10th, 2018 for a five-day official visit,” he said.

Bobiwine has been escorted by a delegation of youthful members of parliament and will be interviewed on Citizen Television’s Jeff Koinange Live later on Wednesday night.

Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association invited Bobi Wine “out of profound respect for the role he is playing in inspiring young people across the continent”.

Moi Day is in honour of former Kenyan President Daniel Moi. This year, the Government of Kenya has chosen to follow last year’s court orders to recognize the day and gazette it as a public holiday.

Musician Qute Kaye has reportedly refused to be admitted in a rehabilitation centre saying that he is not addicted to drugs or any toxic substances.

Moles reveal that he also wants to remain with his girlfriend, Pretty Glow, through her pregnancy.

Rehab would require him to be away from the usual world for about two months.

Brian White who at Radio’s burial promised to finish his house and hand it over to his mother Jane Kasubo earlier this week did precisely that.

Senior government officials in Kenya, Burundi, Ghana and Uganda are worried after intelligence information indicated that Al Shabaab rebels are planning to start kidnapping them.

Security sources in Uganda told one of our security reporters yesterday that Al Shabaab fighters are planning to start kidnapping senior government officials in countries that have foreign troops in Somalia and take them to unknown locations. Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, and Ghana deployed heavily in Somalia on the permission of the African Union.

The Al Shabaab fighters based in Somalia are feared across the world for planting bombs in social centres and kill hundreds of civilians. In 2011 they killed over 76 people in Uganda’s capital, Kampala and recently killed over 70 people in a gun attack in Nairobi, Kenya.

However, the security sources in Uganda told us that they are ready to contain any political situation by the Al Shabaab.

At the police station Batambuze first denied sleeping with Motlhabani, a Security Guard at Oriental Plaza where his IT business is located. However, pressed by the police for answers, Batambuze changed his statement and said:

“It was just a short relationship which never worked out because Motlhabani was an uncontrollable woman. I had carnal knowledge of her private parts but I never pulled anything between her legs. So when I realised that Motlhabani was becoming a big problem to keep as a girlfriend I got rid of her, Batambuze says.

But Motlhabani is claiming that she is contemplating a lawsuit against Batambuze if he does not make an effort to assist her financially to fix her vagina through surgery.

“He abused me for the six months that we were together. He said that he wanted me to have long vaginal lips like the Tswapong and Kalanga women so he used to lubricate me with Vaseline and ‘milk’ me every time before sex. I agreed to it because he had promised to marry me,” said the mother of two. Narrating intimate details of their sex lives Motlhabani says of how the Ugandan man laid her on her back and lengthened her clitoris the way the Baganda do to their girls before marriage.

She also went on to accuse Batambuze of refusing to use a condom every time they had sex. “He also did not like using condoms,” Motlhabani says. Sometimes he would put on a condom when the lights were on but take it off as soon as the lights went off. I ended up giving up on protection because despite everything I was convinced he was my husband to be. That’s why I want to sue him for a breach of promise too,” she says. “But in the meantime all I want from him is for him to come back and help me repair my private parts. The long clitoris is even uncomfortable for me to walk and live a normal life. Batambuze made it clear that he wanted to be left alone to enjoy his new marriage. He tied the knot to another woman over the Independence holidays.

In August this year the Deputy Speaker of Uganda Parliament, Jacob Oulanyah was in thrust in the eye of the storm when he presided over the passing of the Public Order Management Bill, which many people in Uganda and human rights activists around the world branded illegal and draconian since it gave the Uganda police powers previously struck out by the Constitutional Court of Uganda.

The Public Order Management Bill did not put the people of Uganda first, the former minister of Uganda for Local Government, Bidandi Sali told Ultimate Media on Tuesday in Kampala. The retired politician describes the Public Order Management Bill as dangerous, illegitimate, authoritarian and undemocratic legislation.

Under the Public Order Management Bill you cannot discuss poor service delivery by the Uganda ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) headed by president Museveni without permission from Uganda Police. Even if you are in your home, you cannot discuss lack of drugs in hospitals and bad road network without seeking for permission from people in power.

In Uganda, one can not discuss matters of public interest when convening gatherings like birthday parties, wedding meetings, religious fellowships, and meetings of professional associations without police permission. The Public Order Management Bill prohibits discussing public interest issues while assembled in groups like market vendors’ associations, mothers’ union, taxi drivers, prayer groups, old students associations, and or discussing failures of government like corruption without first seeking for approval of Uganda police. Bidandi Sali challenges leaders in Museveni’s government to desist from taking part in the enactment of anti people and undemocratic laws.
