Kristofer Hivju: The 41-year-old Game of Thrones actor, who played the role of Tormund, has tested positive for the new coronavirus on March 17. Known for his fiery red hair and beard, he said and his family were in self-isolation at home in Norway.

Daniel Dae Kim: The South Korean-American actor best known for the television series Hawaii Five-0, said on Thursday that he had tested positive for the coronavirus. Kim, speaking from his home in Hawaii, announced the news in an Instagram posting and video.

The Universal Pictures film stars Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson and Idris Elba have come up with a working title of Hobbs & Shaw. The Filming of the movie has also been taking place in London, the capital of England.

A statement by City of Glasgow Council said: “All vehicles will be prohibited, waiting, loading and unloading will also be prohibited, except vehicles there in connection with the filming which have been given permission by the Glasgow City Council Traffic and Road Safety.”

Now, the wheels are moving on the Ian Fleming character’s next big screen outing with Craig telling Associated Press the untitled film will be his next.

Craig refused to confirm whether filmmaker Danny Boyle – who recently seemed to confirm himself as director Sam Mendes‘ replacement – would be overseeing the project, responding when asked: “We’ll see, we’ll see.”

Craig sparked controversy in 2015 following the release of Spectre after stating he’d rather “slash [his] wrists” than to immediately star in another Bond film.

The actor has appeared in the past four Bond films – Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace, Skyfall, and Spectre – with the forthcoming fifth film, written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, expected to be his last.

It was previously reported that Craig was offered up to £120 million to return as the spy for two more films despite attention surrounding fellow candidates Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, James Norton and Poldark star Aidan Turner. 

Reports also suggested that franchise producer Barbara Broccoli was “determined” to bring back Adele to record the theme tune for a film that will reportedly be based on the 2001 novel Never Dream of Dying.

“For two weeks before the movie, Francis would say, ‘You should talk in the accent at home. Stay in the accent and talk to your friends in the accent’. I said, ‘Francis, I don’t have those kinds of friends. They would never call me again’,” Lawrence told a magazine.

According to reports, Lawrence spent several months working on the accent and though it was tough, it was an essential part of her preparations.

She said, “I had never done a foreign accent before so I spent four months before the movie figuring out what kind of dialect she would have. Once you get there and you have the costume on, you become the character and it’s easier.”

The Oscar-winning actress also struggled with the dance training she had to do and the experience left her amazed that people choose to put them through so much “mental and physical discipline”.

DiCaprio 43, hosted the gathering in Malibu with his pal and fellow actor Sean Penn on Wednesday, according to TMZ. DiCaprio celebrated America’s birthday surrounded by friends and women in bikinis, though his girlfriend, 21-year-old model Camila Morrone, also attended the bash.

The pair was first linked in January and DiCaprio took her to Ellen DeGeneres’ birthday party the following month.

DiCaprio’s fun day off comes as a break from shooting his next movie, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood about the Manson Family murders that took place in 1969 Los Angeles. DiCaprio stars alongside Dakota Fanning, James Marsden, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, and offered a first look at him and Pitt, 54, in character last week.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood marks DiCaprio’s first feature film since starring in 2016’s The Revenant, which won him his first Oscar. The forthcoming crime drama is due in theaters in August 2019.

“Deadpool 2” director David Leitch is on board to helm, with Johnson and Statham reprising their roles as special agent Luke Hobbs and criminal mastermind Deckard Shaw, respectively. “Fast and Furious” architect Chris Morgan penned the script, with production set to commence this fall.

The film will see the often-at-odds pair teaming up. Sources say Elba’s character is the antagonist the duo will go up against.

Since his arrival in the franchise’s fifth installment, Universal has tried to find a way to spin off Johnson’s Hobbs character, given his popularity with fans. Statham joined the series in the seventh movie, and considering the chemistry between the two actors in 2017’s “The Fate of the Furious,” Universal took action on plans to develop a spinoff. It hits theaters on July 26, 2019.

Original Film’s Neal H. Moritz will produce alongside Johnson and his Seven Bucks Productions partners, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia, Statham, and Chris Morgan for his eponymous production company. Kelly McCormick, Steve Chasman, Amanda Lewis, Ainsley Davies, and Ethan Smith will executive produce.

Exec VP of production Mark Sourian and VP of Production Jay Polidoro will oversee the project at Universal.

Elba’s no stranger to playing the baddie in popular tentpoles. He previously appeared as the villain in “Star Trek Beyond,” in addition to voicing the famous Shere Khan in Jon Favreau’s “The Jungle Book.”

He’s coming off a busy 2017 that included “The Dark Tower,” “Molly’s Game,” “Thor: Ragnarok,” and “The Mountain Between Us.” He most recently helmed the Sundance pic “Yardie.” Elba is currently in production on the Netflix comedy series “Turn Up Charlie,” which he created, and will topline and executive produce.

He is repped by WME, The Artist Partnership, and Ziffren Brittenham.

Uganda female rapper, Keko

It now seems Rapper Keko is one of the luckiest hip-hop musicians in East and Central Africa. We have been told that she has got over seven juicy deals in which she can earn over 100 million shillings after the maturity of the deals.

Keko has got a job at Vision Group’s X FM radio, nominee for the 2011 Chanel O VMAs, nominated for East Africa Music awards and recently performed lice at the Big Brother Africa.

We have also heard that Rapper Keko has now got a new job at the Crown Beverages Uganda Limited as the ambassador for Mountain Dew.  In brief Rapper Keko will be used to promote the company’s products.

We have also been informed that Keko is among the few Ugandan singers who can get over 20 million shillings every month. But we have not been able to verify this.

Kiwere says as they prepare for this year’s film festival, they are concerned at the high levels of piracy and hope the government can do more to alleviate the problem.

Amakula is hosting a three months international film festival starting September 2^nd in Kampala at national theater and will later be rolling the festival to Jinja, Masaka and Lira as they showcase all the best films the country has as they teach those who are willing to act, produce as well as direct films.

Kiwere also wants the government to fully cut off taxes on all equipment used in making films and not only on cameras.

He tells journalists that that they are planning to host the east African film makers conference geared at lifting the region’s industry to greater heights.

Uganda children working at a stone quarry

A Film against Child labour in Uganda is to be launched in Kampala as Uganda celebrates the World day against child LABOUR and the world day of the   African child.

The film titled “STONE COLD” focuses on children who are used as workers in the stone quarries mostly by their parents.

The film which is to be unveiled on 17th June, at National Theatre its story reveals the dangers, overcrowding, congestion and struggles that accompany life in a stone quarry.

The Director of the film Irene kulabako together with others shot the film from Kumi, North Eastern Uganda and in Kampala and it was produced by Trivision Uganda.

The film shows how parents dealing in stones with desperate desire to complete clients order for stones remove all their children from school and take them into a forbidden and dangerous spot to break stones.

The film launch is intended to fundraise for children who are victims of accidents in stone quarries and it draws attention on the lives, safety and education of African children today.
