Many people are baffled on how they can lose their weight. So in today’s health news briefing we bring to you how you can lose your weight.

Follow your exercise training programmes, especially for the specific body parts that you want to reduce and stay focused while exercising.

Have someone to exercise with you so that you don’t lose morale. He or she can be your instructor, co-work, partner or personal trainer.

Watch carefully your diet. Watching what you eat is the most important aspect of losing weight. Eat less fat and carbohydrates.

Go slow on eating proteins and enjoy more fruits and vegetable. Keep track of changes. This requires having a good training activity dairy so as to record the type and amount of food consumed in a day.

How to gain human body weight: The normal Body Mass Index (BMI) is 18.5 to 25. The Body Mass Index of less that 18.5 are being underweight or undersize.

 

But one can gain his or her body weight by enriching his or her diet; eat foods that are rich in vitamins including fruits as well as milk and beans.

 

Foods rich in fats have the highest amount of calories. Also plant fats e.g. ground nuts, peanuts, butter and avocado have an advantage over animal fat. This is because these plants increase the level of good cholesterol.

 

Supplement plant fats with a little fish, eggs and dairy products. Also eat snacks rich in calories in between your major meals. These may include fruits, nuts, whole grain bread, biscuits and chocolates.

Skipping food for fear of gaining weight is very dangerous to people doing it according to the latest findings in research and the science world.

Many people around the world often miss meals in a bid to lose weight, but this coupled with the amount of food you eat at your next meal can affect your overall health.

Skipping meals is part of controlled eating plan and it is sometimes good for health. However it can lead to harmful metabolic changes in the body.

The body and brain need nutrients provided by regular balanced meals. So when one skips meals, he/she is bound to miss out on vitamins, minerals and other nutrients necessary for proper growth and health.

And while many body-conscious people skip meals in an attempt to lose weight, doing so actually has the opposite effect. According to online sources, when one goes without food for many hours, the body responds by entering starvation mode [a state of metabolism slow-down designed energy] which might lead to weight gain.

Eating a lot of foods before bed time is one of the causes of human weight gain in different parts of the world. Weight against is mainly caused by snacking.

Different food types. However good the meal, dont eat and go to bed immediately

Snacking is described as eating too much food without plan. While we snack, we don’t truck our nutrient intake. We get too little protein, as well as fruits and vegetables, which promote health and protect us against illnesses and fight fatigue.

If one must snack, fresh raw produce like apples, carrots, cucumber and boiled eggs are ideal. You should avoid processed foods because they tend to have lots of salts, sugars and chemicals.

Also many people snack on carbohydrates or starches, chips, bread, cereal, pastries and desserts which can result in being overweight or succumbing to stroke.

Systems of Tuberculosis (TB) and malnutrition often go together. A child with the disease may fail to gain weight, lose energy, and have cough lasting for more than two weeks.

That child may look unhealthy, have prolonged fever and is tired all the time. In addition, a child with TB may find it hard to breathe.

There are also some dangers of TB in children below the age of 2 and among HIV victims.

The children below 2 years and people living with HIV are particularly at risk because they have an under developed and compromised immune system.

The disease (TB) starts with presents as an on and off cough, resisting most antibiotic treatment.

TB is an airborne disease caused by TB bacilli which is primarily affects the lungs; lymphnodes, intestines, kidneys, joints, brain, spine and the skin are also affected. Over 1000,000 children develop TB and 100,000 die annually in Uganda.
