The Uganda Electoral Commission has announced nomination dates for Presidential Parliamentary and local council elections slated for next year.
The nominations for Presidential candidates will take place on 25th and 26th October at Mandela National Stadium Namboole, while nominations for Members of Parliament will take place on 25th and 26th November at the respective district headquarters.
Those competing for office of District Chairperson or LC5 Chairpersons and those competing to be District Councilors will be nominated on November 4th and 5th 2010. The details of all nomination dates and venues are below.
