The minister of state for health in-charge of general duties, Sarah Opendi says that government has realized it’s the university to subject these students to such exams when they were aware of them and hence has decided the exams will begin next year.
Opendi also told the parliamentary health committee that  medical interns refuse government plea for  each medical intern before being facilitated by government will have to sign a contract bonding him or her to work for government for two years before he or she can be allowed to work for private institutions.

Opendi also says that any student who wants to cancel his or her contract after realizing he or she has gotten better opportunities will have to pay government all the money they have spent training them.
