After a successful Jinja show featuring some of Uganda’s best artists in May, Purple party took over Mbarara town last weekend. The party was held at Agip Motel on Saturday, July 7.
Purple Party organised by NBS’s presenter, Douglas Lwanga, is one the biggest events which never leaves revelers seated.
All the promised artisties made their was to Mbarara and among them was Bebe Cool who performed songs like “Up and Wine, Ki Ekiganye, Nanana, Kasepiki, 18 and over, Embozi zamalwa,among many others.
Performance kicked off a few minutes past 9pm with various artistes,MCs and DJs putting up to the show and thus gave their fans value for their money. There were thrilling performances from artistes such as Allan Toniks, Fille, Spice Diana, Sheila Gashumba, Nina Rose, well as Mbarara based ones like Rydym Selekta, DJ Alberto, MC Kacheche, Penny Patra among others.
The party was sponsored by Club, Pepsi, Crooze FM, NBS TV and Royal events. Fans were seen clad in purple outfits marching to Agip Motel ready to have an experience of what 3rd edition of the purple party tour had to offer as early as 5pm.
