FDC has a candidate in Bukoto South (Lwengo district in greater Masaka) parliamentary by elections. But the FDC president Col. Kiiza Besigye yesterday left the campaign programme of the FDC candidate in the race, Julius Sentamu and went to attend the rallies of another candidate in the same race, Mathias Nsubuga.
Nsubuga is the DP candidate in the race who is also said to be giving the NRM candidate in the race, Alintuma Nsambu some hard time.
Besigye asked the voters in Lwengo to make their voices heard loud by voting for Mathias Nsubuga.
“Do not be intimidated by heavy armed military deployment or Museveni-Kale Kayihura’s presence in Lwengo to campaign for NRM Nsambu, Mathias Nsubuga is the right candidate to represent your interests in the Parliament of Uganda,” Besigye said.
Besigye said that the people of Lwengo may take the money Museveni and Kayihura took to them but vote for Mathias Nsubuga.
