Ugandans camouflage as traditional doctors in South Africa and rob people

Hundreds of Ugandans camouflage as traditional doctors in South Africa and rob people there their items. But the police in South Africa have launched a hunt on Ugandans who posse as traditional healers in South Africa.

Thousands of Ugandans have been deported for camouflaging as traditional doctors and steal people. The Entebbe Airport Police Commandant Moses Kafeero confirms the arrival of hundreds of Ugandans who are deported every week. He however says the police cannot do much with them because they get punished by the countries that arrest them.

Moses Kafeero says the Ugandan police only help to re-join them with their families and retain their contacts.

The Entebbe Airport Interpol officer, Ramathan Busiko says that the police have observed that majority of the culprits declare fake names before the Southern African Immigration department.

The information we have indicates that majority of Ugandans in South Africa do not have serious jobs, with some acting as conmen while most of them conduct traditional healing services which make them obscure and end up fall in the wrong arm of the south African government.

Last month about 82 Ugandans were deported from China, 64 in Malaysia, and 88 in the United Arab Emirates. Most of the Ugandans detained, fined, imprisoned and deported in the past month were guilty of prostitution, impersonation, possession of alcohol and illegal entry into the respective countries.
