Counseling Association offers free services to bomb victims

The Uganda Counseling Association is offering free counseling services to people who were affected by last year’s July twin bombings.

UCA’s Kizito Wamala says people were affected by the bombs psychologically necessitating counseling.

The twin bombs at Kyadondo Rugby Club and Ethiopian Village, Kabalagala killed 76 people and injured hundreds, as they watched the final match of the soccer world cup between Spain and Netherlands on July 11th 2010l.

Wamala says those who access care and attention through counseling will be relieved in the long run.

The free counseling services started on Wednesday and will end on Monday, when mass will be held in remembrance of the deceased.
